Glossy metallic colors, realistic gold and silver surfaces on printed publications. Unique packaging materials.
Metalized foil not only provides raw material with strength and protection, but also gives the printed surface an original and special look. Metalized polyester foil is applied onto the printed surface similarly to glossy or matte foils, graphical elements are printed onto these sheets with UV paint and offset printing. The technique is based on the transparent nature of print paints, as the glossy reflected silvery surface gives metallic glint to the colors printed on it.
Only opaque white and very dark colors can completely cover the silver foil. Unprinted surfaces will acquire a realistic silver color impossible to achieve with conventional metallic ink during offset printing.
Metalized foil is the perfect solution if you need a to apply silver or gold letters or background on large surfaces, or if the graphic elements require real metallic effect.

Advantages:
Metalized foil is instantly available in our printhouse, this way we are able to produce the requested printing product within a short time.
The foiled surface can be varnished upon flexible choices, on the whole surface or using hybrid UV drip off varnish highlighting the details.
Disadvantages:
The design should take into account the fact that the foil covers the whole surface of the sheet, thus the whit elements of the graphic shall be prepared using opaque white paint, which looks a bit different from the color of normal white paper.
